We understand that moving is always a stressful time, and for added security and peace of mind, comprehensive insurance is recommended.
However, we want to assure you that for all relocations, we follow best practices, carefully protect your belongings, and pay special attention to ensure all items arrive without damage.
All our moves are covered by these insurances
Victor Ek Muutot Oy has accident insurance for the crew and liability insurance for immovable property (buildings, structures) up to 1 000 000 €, as well as statutory road transport insurance for movable property.
The compensation under the Road Transport Contracts Act covers up to a maximum of €20.00 per kilogram.
Compensation does not cover items of sentimental value, jewelry, cash or stamp collections etc; pairs & sets, mechanical derangement or consequential loss.

However, if you want additional protection, we can work with our insurance company to offer you Full Protection Removal Insurance, which provides complete coverage for all property being relocated.
We also offer additional insurance options specifically for international or office relocations. Please contact our customer service team with any insurance-related questions.
The premium is calculated based on the present value of the property being moved. Without additional insurance, any compensation will be determined according to the Road Transport Contracts Act provisions.
Note! Most modern home insurance policies include coverage during relocation. We recommend checking your current home insurance policy to see what may already be covered.
